6 & 12 STATIC VOLUME GASTRIC BALLOON
The ConeVita (6 months static Volume) and the Corporea (12-month static Volume) Intra Gastric Balloon can be placed and removed through endoscopy, and is filled with 400mL to 700ml of saline solution and methylene blue, and can remain for up to 6 months (ConeVita ) or 12 months.(Corporea)

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Medsil Intragastric Balloon takes up space in the stomach to help patients lose weight. The balloon is temporary and should be removed after 6 months.
WHEN IS IT USED?
It is used for obese adults with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 27 or more who have not been able to lose weight through diet and exercise. The method should be used while the patient follows a diet and exercise plan, monitored by a doctor.
